Head and Tail Wind Effects

The Headwind/Tailwind deflections are calculated and totaled from 3 ft. increments of the trajectory using projectile ground speed and subtracting or adding the headwind vector velocity at each increment to obtain bullet total bullet drop values at each indicated range.

After calculating a trajectory, open the Head~Tail Wind page and click the "Generate the Chart" button.

The software will calculate both the Headwind and Tailwind vector effect on the bullet strike at each range and also calculate the  sight correction needed to compensate for the deflection.
