How to Batch Draw Icons

  • From the Main Form Menu Item Windows / Forms, Select the Resize / Batch Draw menu item.
  • The Resize Module will open.
  • In the Batch draw and store panel, go to the radio button box labeled Image type  , select  the Icon button.
  • If the multiple drawings are to be installed into the bullet records then, in the radio button box titled Save image location , select the Database  button.  An information box will appear. Click OK.
  • If the multiple drawings are to be saved on the computer, then in the radio button box titled Save image location , select the Computer  button.  An information box will appear. Click OK.
  • Click the Setup Multiple Icons button. An information box will appear. Click OK.
  • If you wish to filter the database for a particular group of records (type, style, weight, diameter, etc.) then Click the Setup a Filter button to open the Batch Draw Filter Module.
  • Select a value in one of the displayed columns.
  • Click on the column's title button and the filter dialog will open with either a range of values or with the value that you selected in the database grid.
  • Edit or leave the value as is and click OK. An information box will appear with the number of filtered records selected. Click OK.
  • The Current - Stop edit windows will display the start record number and stop record numbers. The start record # may be edited using the navigator bar at the top of the form. The stop record # may be edited using the keyboard.
  • Click the Start the Icon Installation button. A query box will confirm your selection of the file type to be saved. (using the jpeg file type will save a lot of computer space) Click OK.
  • If the images are to be saved to a directory or folder on the computer "Save as" query dialog will appear. Navigate to the folder or directory where the images are to be saved and click "Save".
  • The software will then start to sequential draw, rotate, resize and save to a file, each record selected in the database.
  • The process may be stopped at any time by clicking on the Stop the Installation button and restarted by again clicking the Start the Icon Installation button.
  • When the process is finished, be sure to click the Clear the filter button.
