Transfer individual records to Precision Ballistics and Load Records
If the Precision Ballistics, Load Records or G1 BC calculator modules are installed on the computer, this module can transfer bullet dimension data and images to the Active, Cast and Jacketed bullet databases used by the Precision modules.
The Precision Load Records Software
The new, Version~5 Precision Ballistics and Precision Load Records software modules provide an option that displays bullet images and dimensions.
The Precision Load Records Software ~ Active Bullet Database
This Bullet Design option may be used to filter or select a collection of bullet design dimension data and images that may be copied to the Precision Ballistics and Load Records' Active Bullet Database.
Single, selected records or all selected records may be copied to the Active Bullet database with the following options:
A. Copy all selected record(s) to the Active Bullet database and either:
1. Replace any existing record.
2. Write a duplicate of any existing record tagged as a (duplicate).
B. Copy the selected record or all selected records only if existing, matching records are found in the Active Bullet database and either;
1. Replace the existing record.
2. Write a duplicate of the existing record tagged as a (duplicate).
The Precision Ballistics and Load Records software also contains 2 additional bullet archive data bases of cast bullet and jacketed bullet records. The copy process will also search these databases for matching records. If a matching record is found, the record will be moved to the Active Bullet database and processed according to the options selected above. The record will also be tagged as having been moved from the archive database.( This prevents the duplication of existing records causing indexing problems).
