Select Bullet Type

From the drop-down box, selct the correct bullet style.

Estimating the average G1 Ballistic Coefficient of a Round Ball requires that a certain algorithm be used. Selecting the Rnd Ball option disables certain entry windows and calculates the necessary entries from the diameter of the fired ball and asks for the diameter of a pure lead round ball

After entering the diameter of the round ball in the Ball Diameter Field, depress the keyboard's "Tab" button and the drop down box will again be selected. depress the "Tab" button again and the weight of a pure lead round ball of the entered caliber size will then be calculated and entered into the Weight Field window.

If the weight of the actual fired ball is different than the calculated weight, the value may be edited in the weight entry window.

Click the "Calculate B.C." button to estimate the G1 Ballistic Coefficient of the Lead Round Ball.
