Caliber
Caliber or Groove Diameter
In order to more closely estimate a Ballistic Coefficient, the calculations must use the diameter of a bullet after it has been fired through the barrel. Enter the Barrel Groove Diameter of the firearm barrel to the nearest 1/10000" in the field..
In the case of a bore diameter paper patched, round-ball or sabot bullet, enter the diameter of the projectile after the patch or sabot has been shed. (This can usually be the as-cast or sized diameter of the projectile)
